Art makes sense
My Teacher Sri A.K. Rama Varma showed me how to sketch. He sketched the beautiful trees in bloom, the rocks, the pathway, the tribals and a lot more. Rapid strokes with a soft pencil smudged now and then with his finger, to get a mass.He got the light and shade, the perspective and the mood. It gave an insight to that which I understood as abstraction. The sketches were powerful. The trees and the rocks, were full of life...
