My Teacher Sri A.K. Rama Varma showed me how to sketch. He sketched the beautiful trees in bloom, the rocks, the pathway, the tribals and a lot more. Rapid strokes with a soft pencil smudged now and then with his finger, to get a mass.He got the light and shade, the perspective and the mood.
